The City of David, Panama, was the stage where the penultimate event of the 2018 Central America Innovation + Tourism Talk, of the seven scheduled, was held on October 31. Thirty-one delegates from 28 Panamanian businesses participated.
The participants from Panama corresponded to 4% of the Central American total. The representativeness of Panamanian businesses at the regional level was 7%. In Panama, hoteliers set the tone by representing 36% of participating businesses, followed by Tour Operators with 29%. Regarding the hierarchical ranks, 55% corresponded to executives and 32% to general managers.
The event was inagurated by Gina Valderrama, Director of Tourism Investments of the Tourism Authority of Panama, on behalf of Gustavo Him, Minister of Tourism of Panama.
