The work of brand positioning through the diffusion of the attractions and tourism strengths of Central America had great relevance during the year 2017, period in which the region was visited by 67 European communicators who represented more than 140 old-world media.

The region operated a total of 141 press trips, of which 29% were developed within the context of the 2017 CATM Fair.  An average audience of 24,344,744 people were exposed to the news generated from the press trips, with a Return on Investment (ROI) with an approximate value of €603,374.00 (six hundred three thousand three hundred and seventy-four euros).
